our mission
The children we support at Le Bois Marcelle are growing up in spaces that are too small and not adapted to their needs.
For them, every detail matters: a space to rest, calming lighting, a structured environment. We are building L'Ancrage, a new home for 32 children. And you can take part in it in a concrete and meaningful way.

Why it matters

Specialized centres for autistic children remain extremely limited in Belgium

Today, more than 40 non-verbal autistic children are waiting for a place at the Le Bois Marcelle Care Centre, representing 40 children in need of specialized support and 40 families facing daily challenges without adequate solutions.
L’Ancrage is not simply a new building. It is a therapeutic environment designed specifically around the sensory, emotional, and developmental needs of autistic children: calming architecture, adapted acoustics, therapeutic spaces, nature, and family-centered care working together in one place.

partnership program
Companies can help build something that lasts.
Option 1 → Direct donation
Partnerships with businesses allow us to fund larger structural elements of the project — the kind of contributions that shape the identity of a building and create a real and lasting impact for the children and families we support.
Option 2 → Double your impact
Many companies support charitable projects through employee matching gift programs. Your employer can match your contribution, helping to provide even more adapted spaces, therapeutic environments, and support for the children of Bois Marcelle.

Sensory Architecture
A building that thinks about every sense.
Every architectural choice in L'Ancrage is guided by one question: what does this space make a child feel, when their senses experience the world differently?

Frequently asked questions

Total transparency.

How are the funds used?

Every euro collected is entirely dedicated to building our new facility designed to welcome children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Donations will fund therapeutic spaces, specific layouts, adapted furniture, sensory equipment, and the living spaces essential to the children's well-being.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. For any donation of €40 or more per calendar year, a tax certificate is issued, allowing a tax reduction in accordance with current Belgian legislation.

Can I visit the premises before making a donation?

Yes. We would be happy to welcome you to present our institution, our support for the children, and the construction project.
Simply make an appointment with our team by writing to secretariat@boismarcelle.be or by contacting us at 071/36.38.92 and asking for Yoni Fiorito. We will be delighted to show you this meaningful project.

When will the work begin?

Construction will begin on August 31, 2026, and will span a period of approximately 18 months. We hope to welcome the first children into their new building during the course of 2028.

Why build a new facility?

Today, the children we support are in premises that have become unsuitable, outdated, and nearly dilapidated. These infrastructures no longer meet the specific needs of children with autism spectrum disorder.

Is the project already funded?

More than 85% of the project's funding is already secured thanks to the support of public partners, foundations, businesses, and numerous donors. Your contribution will help fund the final essential fittings to provide the children with a high-quality environment that fully meets their needs.

Can I make a donation on behalf of my company?

Yes. Companies can support this project in various ways: financial donations, patronage, sponsorship, or solidarity partnerships. Every contribution directly helps improve the daily lives of the children we care for. We would be delighted to discuss with you to build a meaningful collaboration.

Is my donation secure?

Yes. All payments are made via an entirely secure payment platform, guaranteeing the confidentiality of your personal data and the protection of your transactions.

How can I follow the progress of the project?

We will regularly share construction updates, photos, videos, and testimonials from children, families, and professionals across all our social media channels. You will be able to follow every stage of the project and see the concrete impact of your generosity, from laying the first stone to welcoming the first children into their new building.

Why is your support so important?

Because beyond building a facility, you are offering children with autism a dignified, adapted environment that respects their needs. You are allowing them to grow, learn, and thrive in conditions they have never experienced before. Together, we are not just building walls. We are building a brighter, more peaceful future for these children and their families.

The next chapter
begins with you.

Every contribution — no matter the size — is a decision to believe in these children. To say: their comfort matters. Their dignity matters. Their future matters.
